ADMISSION GUIDELINES

  • Please fill the Application Form for registration.
  • Please submit the Application Form with a copy of your child’s birth certificate, 2 passport-sized photographs and a copy of the applicant’s previous report cards.
  • Aadhar card of parents and applicant needs to be submitted.
  • Parents will be intimated about the entrance tests and interviews.
  • Please ensure prompt arrival at the venue on the scheduled date of  interview.

ADMISSION TESTS WILL BE BASED ON THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

  • Montessori: Testing will be informal.
  • Kindergarten 1 & 2: Testing will be informal.
  • Grade I to III: Basic Skills in English, Math and EVS
  • Grade IV to IX: General level of Understanding in English, Math, Science.

NOTE:

  • A Rs. 750/- must be enclosed, in case of a downloaded application form.
  • Students will be given a specified time frame for the test and should carry a pencil and eraser or pen as required.
  • The testing will be based on general understanding of the students’ age-appropriate awareness.
  • Admission is based solely on merit. Depending on the marks obtained in the entrance test and a review of the previous report cards, candidates will be shortlisted and called for the interview.
  • Parents will be contacted when a decision has been reached.

If the parents do not wish to go forward with the admission, the seat will be passed on to the next candidate on the list.

3) What is the admission process? Is there an entrance exam?
  1. Parents seeking admission to Jnana Sweekar are requested to visit campus. Kindly do not leave any field empty, as incomplete forms will not be accepted. Parents are also required to submit the documents as mentioned in the registration form.
  2. Students are required to take an entrance test which will be based on the syllabus as follows
    – If the test is conducted in January/February – Full portion of previous year and 1st term of current year
    – If the test is conducted in April/May – Full portion of previous year and of current year
    (The above may vary depending on the current situation and the guidelines by the Government).
  3. An interaction with parents along with student before the final results.

For students of Class 1 and above, the school begins at 8.15 am and ends at 3:15 pm with a mid-morning snack break and afternoon lunch break.
